I am one of those few people whose path crossed with Jim's briefly during some of his sailing sojourns in the BVI. We lost touch and reconnected after 30 years. I just listened to a broadcast with his narration of a few of his poems. The essence and delivery of these poems was just amazing. Jim's well-traveled life, mostly by sea, has gifted him with many memories, both happy and sad, which he has so eloquently penned into heartfelt poetry. His yearning to return to the sea is discernable in these words. Seasoned with sun, salt and a fair amount of sea spray, Jim's work is a real pleasure to ponder and sure to please the happy wanderer and armchair sailor alike.

Great website Jim, lots of great information. Delighted to see you have finally, after all these years, found the time to put all of those amazing life-experiences into print. The world will be a richer place as a result. I'm dreaming of time we can meet again in the BVI and share a Painkiller.

Jim - Fantastic. Will be diving into the first one to be published over the holidays. From what I've seen so far - these books will fly away to be read by many people who will be able to relate to them on so many levels. Hope you write some more, soon. Regards, J. Elvin.

Hi Jim, I did not find the guest book the first time I looked at the main page. I therefore wrote on your facebook page - since that link was below where you had indicated in the text "please sign the guestbook page". You mentioned not many had left you a note, maybe there should be an indication that the viewer should look to the right column and there is the link to the guest book.

Congratulations. Wishing you lots of success and happiness. I am sure there will be many, many happy readers. I will be one of them. I guarantee.
